Warm filtered water is introduced into the colon; as
a result the waste softened loosened,
and is then eliminated by the body natural digestive action
known as peristalsis. Warm
filtered water is repeated several times during a session
This may sound like an enema because the same principle
is used; however, a colonic goes much deeper. An enema
only cleanse approximately the first 18 inches of the
lower colon, while colonic sends water through the colon
and irrigates all 5 to 6 feet of colon.
People usually have numerous questions about colonic.
One of these questions is what to
expect at the first visit? On your first visit to Wellness
Solutions, a Certified Colon
Hydrotherapist will take your health history, explain
the session and answer your questions.
During the session, clients lie comfortably on a treatment
bed; undressed only from the
waist down, and they remain covered throughout the session;
modesty is given top priority.
The sterile tube is inserted approximately two inches
into the anal canal, and used only
once. Attached to tube is a tube for the inflow of water
and a waste hose for the colon
release its contents. Colonic cleanses the entire colon
with minimal stress. Waste material is eliminated through
specialized equipment to a drain line, thereby avoiding
any offensive odor and maintaining the dignity of the
individual. What is eliminated is visible through a sealed,
clear viewing tube.
Following a session, many individuals report a feeling
of heightened energy, an increased
sense of well-being and renewed vitality. As you plan
your time at Wellness Solutions, be aware that the actual
session last between 30-45 minutes; but you’ll need
to allow at least one hour per visit. We also recommend
an initial series of at least three to six sessions to
achieve maximum cleansing benefits. The therapist will
monitor your progress and assist you in planning a maintenance
program that is right for you.
